Our purpose is to expose people to God's love, to connect them with
other Christians, to equip them with God's Word, to experience a
Living Faith, and to honor God with our lives.
Living Faith Christian Community is a new church start in Spencerville, Ohio that
professes Jesus Christ as our risen Lord and Savior and seeks to be a place where seekers of
faith, new Christians, or disciples of many years can experience a real, living faith first hand
both as individuals and as a community. We are an ancient-future Church that strives to merge
our living faith with everyday life in the real world around us.

Christian Community to have a DNA that is different by
design and that it has a God inspired name and mission.
Each word of this new church's name describes part of
the purpose for which this new Church is called into
being.

Living Faith
We believe that people yearn for a Living Faith. We believe that people want to be
Church and not just attend church. Here at Living Faith Christian Community we will help
persons enable their faith to come alive 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Living Faith is
more than just attending Sunday morning worship. That is important, but so living one's faith
through intercessory prayer, giving a helping hand to the elderly, poor and homeless,
becoming friends with people who are broken, seeking, and living life on the fringes, supprting
missionaries and ministries around the block and across the globe that touch people with God's
love, and sharing one's faith in concrete ways in one's neighborhood, workplace, etc. At Living
Faith Christian Community, you will find opportuinities to live out your faith on a daily basis in
real, life transforming ways.
Living Faith is more than just doing things for God, it is a way of life in which God's power, life,
and love is unleashed through us to change the world! This new church start will be a
movement that is called by Christ to shake up things in the area for the glory of God our Father.

Christ as our living Lord and Savior and hold to the global, orthodox, Reformation faith as
recorded in Scripture, affirmed in the creeds of the Early Church and given new insight in the
Protestant Reformation. At the same time, we will strive to follow Christ in new ways that merge
our Living Faith with life in this contemporary, digital, post-modern age.
Here, people will find support to grow their own, personal, Living Faith. Through small groups,
online discussion forums, worship, and hands-on ministry opportunities, people will be
equipped to make the Bible come to life in their own lives and families.

& Congregational Christian Churches to network with other churches in youth ministry, missions

living faith apart from community. That is why we use the word "Community" instead of
"Church." Many people think of "church" as only being the place where you attend worship on
Sunday mornings. Yet, "community" is the place where you live, work, hang out with friends,
greet neighbors, buy groceries, etc. on a daily basis. Here at Living Faith Christian
Community, we will strive for our "church" to not be confined just to our worship center, but to
extend into the neighborhoods in which we live and work.
Thus, we will provide multiple avenues for persons to be in fellowship and ministry with each
other throughout the week: at the worship center, in people's homes, at the bowling alley, on
the internet, etc. Furthermore, with our "church" spread out across the community, we will
provide numerous entry portals for "new friends" to move into the neighborhood, develop
friendships and engage in authentic Christian community.
