Here at Living Faith Christian Community we believe in Jesus Christ
as Lord and Savior and that Christ is the head of His Body, the Church,
and of each local church.
We also bear witness that Christ calls His Body to live faith in vitally
authentic ways to express the power and life of our living God, who
seeks to bring healing and new life to our world through the power of God's
never ending love as expressed in God's holy Word, the Bible, and in the
life, teachings, death, resurrection and dwelling presence of Christ Jesus
our Lord.
We also believe that to have a Living Faith, that each person who
seeks to become a follower of Jesus Christ, must claim, as their
own, an authentic, ever growing, personal Living Faith in God as informed
by Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
As an ancient-future church, we acknowledge that our Living Faith
heritage has deep roots dating back to the pages of the Bible, which
were affirmed by the Early Church in the Apostles Creed and Nicene
Creed, re-affirmed by the insights of the Protestant Reformers as
summarized by the Heidelberg Catechism, and given a fresh voice by
churches of the Evangelical, Reformed, Congregational and Christian
traditions in our contemporary age.

We affirm with
evangelical
Christians across
the globe that Christ
has instituted two
sacraments: Baptism
and the Lord's
Supper.
These play a central
role in our life
together as a Living
Faith Christian
Community.
We invite you to explore for yourself the historic creeds and testimonies
of faith that ground us as a Living Faith Christian Community.
We celebrate both infant baptism and believer's baptism by sprinkling or
immersion. The Lord's Supper is celebrated the first Sunday of each month
and on other special occasions.
