Spencerville Area CROP Walk
Living Faith Christian Community particpates in the Spencerville Area
CROP Walk.
This is an important community-wide mission project.

The Spencerville Area CROP Walk is held on World Communion Sunday,
the first Sunday in October in downtown Spencerville.  This year's CROP Walk will
be held on Sunday, October 5, 2008.

The pupose of the CROP Walk is two-fold: to raise funds to fight local and
global hunger and to bring together Christians in the Spencerville area for
mission and fellowship.

Where does the money go? 25% of all funds raised at the Spencerville Area
CROP Walk remains in the Spencerville area to help with local hunger relief: 15%
goes to fund the Spencerville Community Samaritans Food Pantry and 10% goes
to fund the Loaves & Fishes Feeding Ministry in Wapakoneta.  The remaining
75% of funds raised at the CROP Walk is used by Church World Service in
fighting global hunger and providing  disaster relief in over 80 countries across
the globe.
